What we call a double sole is actually built with three layers of leather—an additional leather layer is placed between the moccasin and the hand-stitched Bull Hide outsole for enhanced cushioning, durability, and all-day comfort. Outstanding
I bought a pair of the honey deerskin lined. I'm 44, and of the age where a man can appreciate a good quality handmade moccasin. I also think people in general have grown tired of made in China garbage that doesn't last. It's harkens back to a time when people took their time and had pride in their workmanship, and weren't strictly profit-driven. It's a throwback to a time that no longer exists and never mind the $150, in this respect there are some things you can't put a price on. I went .5 size down, and i have narrow feet so took a gamble on the C width and they fit perfectly. Gave then a nice coat of beeswax leather cream which added some nice depth to the color without darkening. Lining is so soft, like butter. Looking forward to wearing them every day!

Quality and comfort
Once you open the box you can tell these are handmade with an eye towards superb quality. I've been wearing now every day for 3 weeks while I work from home and they've already formed to my feet and are super comfortable. Highly recommend.

Best footwear ever!
My initial reason for purchasing these mocs was that I could ground (earth) at every opportunity during daily activities. Still is, but the bonus of these moccasins are the unbelievable comfort they provide. When brand new,there may be some minor issues with "fit", a touch tight, a spot on your foot irritated from the moc, etc..however, they are short-lived. As they are worn (broken) in, they will begin to form to your feet and your feet will slip into these as if they were custom molded to your feet. As time goes on, your footprint actually becomes embossed on the inner sole of the moccasin. The term " fits like a glove" properly describes the feel and comfort of this footwear. I purchase or get gifted a yearly pair because they are pretty much all I wear on my feet once winter passes( Chicagoland area).I hike,golf, and bike with mine. My older pairs are kept and used for gardening and other assorted chores to keep the new pair looking good for as long as possible. TownView makes a superb product.You will not regret the purchase of these mocs.

bought a size 9 double deerskin sole Excellent product, extremely comfortable and quality Slightly large, especially at heel, significant heel slip noted which was ok after tightening leather laces significantly Not an issue for my intended purpose of house slippers

Most Comfortable
I have bought at least 6 pair of these great moccasins over the last few years. They mold to your feet and I wear them for every day because they are so comfortable. I will order more in the future......best product ever......

Quality, comfort, good-looking
This is my second pair. I have the the lined dark brown mocs and now the honey version of the deer skin lined mocs. Both pair are good-looking and pure comfort. When I slip on these mocs, my feet - if they could - would smile.
