What we call a double sole is actually built with three layers of leather—an additional leather layer is placed between the moccasin and the hand-stitched Bull Hide outsole for enhanced cushioning, durability, and all-day comfort. they are quite unique
I was expecting a really tight fit- but I received a really great shoe- that feels even better with a pair of wool socks inside them... don't get me wrong, I love wearing them barefoot- especially with the deerskin interior- but the really great fit starts with a pair of wool socks... I have weird feet- maybe that's it.... I LOVE these mocs!

JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!
Perfect fit and buttery soft, these Ole' Maine mocs are just what I needed. I know how important it is to have bare feet on the ground in our modern world, but my ol' feet just can't take being completely barefoot. These mocs solved the problem for me. So glad I found them.

I prefer the lined over the unlined
I just got my third pair of moccasins for Christmas, over many years of wear. They are one of the nicest handmade items I own. For some reason, I had never tried the lined ones, and I think I prefer them. The lining is very soft.
