What we call a double sole is actually built with three layers of leather—an additional leather layer is placed between the moccasin and the hand-stitched Bull Hide outsole for enhanced cushioning, durability, and all-day comfort. Beautiful, comfortable, perfect moccasins
I got the deerskin-lined honey moccasins. They are gorgeous and comfortable right out of the box! Now that I've been wearing them for a couple weeks, they have formed to my feet, giving me the perfect house shoe with or without socks. The sizing advice is solid. I originally ordered my dress shoe size. Those were a tad too wide, so I sized down to single E thanks to advice from Gayanne. The exchange pair shipped promptly and are a perfect fit.

Fantastic Slippers
These slippers are beautiful, fit great, and the construction and materials are absolutely top notch. I loved being able to order in a narrow width and turnaround was still a couple of days. These are a great value compared to what some other made-in-Maine slippers cost, and there is nothing I'd change about them.

The BEST Moccasin Available On Earth!!!
I just purchased the deerskin lined dark brown moccasins. I knew immediately when I opened the box and smelled the unmistakable aroma of high-quality tanned leather that I was about to experience something special! Upon pulling the shoes out of the box and sliding my feet in them, I immediately fell in love. These mocs will not require any break-in as they are literally glove-like. The quality of the leather is second to none and I perceive that they will possibly outlast me! I love them SO MUCH though, that I am about to order a pair of the lighter "Honey" colored deerskin lined models too! For anyone on the fence about these, take it from me - these are a very special treat and you will immediately appreciate the unequalled quality of this product the moment that you touch them.

They're a fine pair of moccasins
I cannot say I've ever owned a better pair of moccasins in my 30 years or so of purchasing them. They're extremely comfortable out of the box and mold a good imprint of your actual foot over about a week of wear in. Durable soles that can handle light outdoor walking, too. Leather is supple and even better on the inner lining.

Walk a mile in these moccasins!
Simply outstanding. I am old and unfortunately heavy and injured my knee multiple times this summer while wearing some expensive brand name sneakers that rhyme with Mikey. After a summer of discomfort and re-injury medical personnel were consulted. At my age and size knee surgery appeared to be on the horizon. Until I discovered that if I were to wear flat bottomed footwear with a wide toe box it was possible to heal. As I am allergic to synthetics moccasins have been the answer. This particular product looks great and has allowed my knee to continue to heal. This pair has a very thick sole due to the many layers of leather and is most comfortable to wear. A slight pad has been added for further comfort but after a week of wear this will become my go to shoe. Thank you for doing such a nice job. Very high quality as well as American made!
