What we call a double sole is actually built with three layers of leather—an additional leather layer is placed between the moccasin and the hand-stitched Bull Hide outsole for enhanced cushioning, durability, and all-day comfort. top notch moccasins
This is my second pair of these in maybe 20 years. The only reason I got another pair was because the puppy found the old pair. Quality leather and construction. I think I paid $100-120 for the first pair so had no issues paying what I paid for this pair. You will not wear them out.

Well made double-sole moccasins
Yes, these moccasins are expensive, but you really get what you pay for. They are comfortable, they come in a narrow width if you need it (which I do), and they are perfect "indoor" shoes.

Excellent Slippers
I bought the Town View Deerskin Lined Moccasins to use as house slippers, and I have been very impressed so far. I was a little bit worried before I got them that the sole would be too thin to be comfortable, but they have quickly become my favorite pair, so that worry proved unfounded. The quality also appears to be very good, and I'm hoping to be able to wear them for many years. When I first bought them, I felt my heel slipping out the back when I walked, but after a few days that doesn't happen anymore and they fit perfectly.

Give them a day or two
After some unsatisfactory purchases from other companies, I found this company in some online reviews, and gave them a shot. What a find. Extremely well made (and here in the US), good size range, and quickly shipped. The first day I tried them, they were a little stiff. I felt like my heels were slipping, and there was a hint of irritation to come. But I wore them, and by the third day, they were like a glove. Conformed to my odd feet, without losing form. I'm a customer for life. They shipped within a fews days! No long lead times. Don't try to adjust laces too much (to take up slippage). Give them a little time.
