*FREE SHIPPING* Our Double Sole Ole' Maine Comfort Classic Leather Moccasin is genuine handsewn around the toe and heel (not whipped or laced) using soft textured Top Grain Cowhide. A thicker, more durable Bull Hide leather is used for the double sole. This warm Honey colored leather is our newest choice.
The Deerskin lining is an added touch of softness next to your foot.
Our double sole moccasins are really "triple" soles because we put an extra layer of leather between the moccasin and the stitched on double sole for added comfort. Combining that with great classic looks and craftsmanship it creates a long time friend. There is nothing quite as special as handsewn moccasins.
When choosing a size for your new moccasins, keep in mind our moccasins run pretty true to the size of your dress shoe or everyday street shoe size...not a sneaker, athletic shoe or work boot.

Walk a mile in these moccasins!

Simply outstanding. I am old and unfortunately heavy and injured my knee multiple times this summer while wearing some expensive brand name sneakers that rhyme with Mikey. After a summer of discomfort and re-injury medical personnel were consulted. At my age and size knee surgery appeared to be on the horizon.
Until I discovered that if I were to wear flat bottomed footwear with a wide toe box it was possible to heal. As I am allergic to synthetics moccasins have been the answer. This particular product looks great and has allowed my knee to continue to heal.
This pair has a very thick sole due to the many layers of leather and is most comfortable to wear. A slight pad has been added for further comfort but after a week of wear this will become my go to shoe. Thank you for doing such a nice job. Very high quality as well as American made!

One look when they arrived and I could see and feel quality. The deerskin lining was well done and so comfortable. Within a week they felt like extensions of my feet. Well worth the price!

The inner soles are extremely soft and the leather is of high quality. I wear these casually around the yard/house and they're great! You can tell that these moccasins will last a very long while. 10/10 highly recommend!

Sturdy, Well Crafted Moccasins

I ordered the Deerskin Lined Double Sole Leather Moccasins for my husband for Christmas. He had worn out the old pair, same style, that he'd had since 2012. These new moccasins are sturdy, well made, comfortable and worth the price. The leather is soft where it needs to be and tough on the sole so it won't wear through. Before he saw the mocs, when he opened the box, his eyes lit up. He smelled the leather and his eyes lit up. Thank you for still making these moccasins!

These moccassins are the best! I bought a pair several years ago and just felt I had to have another pair. They are very comfortable and extremely durable. The craftsmanship that goes into these are excellent. I would recommend these to anyone!

My wife has had a pair of the deerskin lined moccasins for over a year & she loves them. I needed a pair of slippers & because of her telling me of the exceptional comfort of your moccasins, I decided to order a pair. They are everything she said they are. Beautifully handmade & so comfortable. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a quality handmade slipper. I just can’t say enough good things about them. Purchase a pair. You won’t be disappointed.

My second pair of Townview moccasins that exceed any other product available. I have been fully satisfied with the materials and workmanship that are used in the construction of the moccasins and consider Townview products to be the best avaialable.

Consistently High Quality for Over 2 Decades!

I first discovered Town View Leather and their double-sole deerskin lined moccasins in the late 1990's, and over the years, have purchased new ones every 2-3 years on average. The quality continues to withstand the test of time, and while the price has understandably increased over twenty or so years, the craftsmanship, fit and finish remains top-notch.
These are incredibly comfortable footgear, and are far more substantial than "house slippers" or something only intended for indoor use. As many others seem to do, I do rotate older pairs for outdoor use, and these can withstand reasonably well even manmade surfaces, although I suspect that this does somewhat accelerate wear, as opposed to sticking to natural surfaces only.
I don't hesitate to recommend these to anyone seeking high quality moccasins, and think they represent a very good value. There is another Maine based company that manufactures high-quality footgear, including similar moccasins (I own a pair, which I was able to buy on sale, as the competitor normally prices at about double what Town View Leather charges), and I think it fair to state that Town View Leather's value is greater based on regular pricing (the competitor's version isn't "twice as good," in all honesty).
As true moccasins, these do conform to one's feet and are incredibly comfortable, although I fortunately do not suffer from flat feet and suspect that someone who requires a lot of arch support in all of their shoes might not find these as comfortable.
