What we call a double sole is actually built with three layers of leather—an additional leather layer is placed between the moccasin and the hand-stitched Bull Hide outsole for enhanced cushioning, durability, and all-day comfort. The rugged Bull Hide double sole provides long-lasting wear while maintaining the flexible feel that makes moccasins so distinctive.

Damn Fine Moccasins!
I've had moccasins from all the Outfitter type stores and these absolutely surpass all expectations. Firstly, they come in proper sizes. The materials are superb and the craftsmanship is flawless. Right out of the box, they fit like moccasins should fit. They are a bargain for handmade gear. I'm getting another pair for stalking around the hunting camp. Keep up the great work.

great slippers
I purchased after finding out that my go to slippers were not made in USA anymore. These are even better, straight out of the box very comfortable and the quality is the best I have seen at any price . I plan on buying another pair for myself and some for birthday presents.

Consistantly the best
This is my 2nd pair of Ole' Maine Comfort Classic Moccasins. They fit like custom made right out of the box and have a "sturdiness" that portends to many years of wearing enjoyment. I love wearing moccasins, and these are my absolute favorites. Keep up this quality and you have a customer for life.

Incomparable moccasins
I gave these moccasins to my wife for Christmas. She absolutely loves them. She describes them as sleek and comfortable. They are true to size. These are the best made mocs I've seen in a long time. Not comparable to any imported, cheap junk in the last few years. The deerskin linings are worth the small increase in price.

very comfortable with the deer skin lining
great set of moc's, i requested darker brown as the soles with the honey on top and was contacted immediately about the request. Received the custom pair within about a week Leather is soft and subtle i never want to take them off my feet. Moc's run a little large, i normally wear a 13 or 14 in running shoes and ordered a 13 in the Moc's, 12's would have been a better fit, but still extremely happy and would order another pair for my parents.

Very Attractive and Exceptionally Well Made Moccasins
These are great and attractive and I like them very much. Only minor caveat is they are not as soft when walking as the Minnetonka Moose-hide moccasins they replaced.
