What we call a double sole is actually built with three layers of leather—an additional leather layer is placed between the moccasin and the hand-stitched Bull Hide outsole for enhanced cushioning, durability, and all-day comfort. Fabulous moccasin!

Do not hesitate!
These are WONDERFUL slippers! I've purchased many slippers for my husband over the years and he has found something wrong with every pair. Not with these. Exceeded My Expectations
Over the years I have learned that there is simply no substitute for quality. None! I an happy to say that my pair of deer skin lined, double soled moccasins from Townview Leather exudes quality. When you first open the box, you are greeted with the wonderful smell of real leather. The first thing I noticed after unwrapping the mocs was the craftsmanship of the product. The cut and fit of the leather, the quality of the stitching, the smoothness of the deer skin lining, all absolutely first rate. When you first slip them on, they're a bit snug which is a good thing. Within an hour or so, they have conformed to your foot and feel absolutely exquisite. These things are built to last and I expect many, many years of service from these moccasins. As if things couldn't be better, these are handcrafted in Maine! An honest to goodness, American made pair of moccasins of impeccable quality and at a very reasonable price. Believe me when I say that you will never regret investing in these mocs! Well done!!!!

Excellent craftsmanship and materials
Wonderful mocs. Sized a bit small (for me at least) so you might consider going up a half size. Still breaking them in so I expect they will stretch to (my) size as I use them. Glad to support a family business in the US.

Nice moccasins
They fit well right out of the box. These are my second pair. I still wear the old ones almost every day, mainly in the house. They are smooth dark leather which I prefer to the pebble grain. I do like the honey color of the mew pair.Hopefully they will wear as well as my original pair.
