What we call a double sole is actually built with three layers of leather—an additional leather layer is placed between the moccasin and the hand-stitched Bull Hide outsole for enhanced cushioning, durability, and all-day comfort. The rugged Bull Hide double sole provides long-lasting wear while maintaining the flexible feel that makes moccasins so distinctive.

Went looking for Made in America hand-sewn slippers & found them
I had been pricing "nice" slippers for some time (my last couple cheap-o pairs from Kohls had become dog chews soon after bringing them home). I noticed the main retailers online had hand-sewn slippers, but they were all "imported." It's important to me to pay real money for real items made in this country. My double-sole leather moccasins were exactly as described and have not left my feet in the four days since I received them. Excellent build quality, good price for the product, and made in the USA. Nice job!

nice workmanship
I ordered the deer skin lined moccasins 1/2 size larger...glad I did. Well made but it took a little while to be comfortable....to conform to my foot. Have not worn long enough to tell how well they will wear. Nice looking and well made

I am very happy with the quality, fit and timeliness of these moccasins. The stitching is lined up and secure. The leather is high quality. They look as if they will last a very long time. I went searching for "Hand Made in Maine" Moccasins and was fortunate enough to discover "Town View Leather". My Double-Sole-Deerskin-Lined Moccasins arrived before Christmas and fit me like a glove.
