'Ole Maine Comfort Classic-Double Sole-Deerskin Lined-Honey
Experience the exceptional comfort and craftsmanship of our Double Sole Ole’ Maine Comfort Classic Moccasin. Each pair is genuinely handsewn around both the toe and heel—never whipped or laced—using soft, textured Top Grain Cow hide for a refined feel and lasting quality. Finished in a lush Honey, this timeless style offers classic appeal that only improves with wear.
Inside, a Deerskin lining adds an extra layer of softness, creating a smooth, comfortable feel against the foot.
What we call a double sole is actually built with three layers of leather—an additional leather layer is placed between the moccasin and the hand-stitched Bull Hide outsole for enhanced cushioning, durability, and all-day comfort. The rugged Bull Hide double sole provides long-lasting wear while maintaining the flexible feel that makes moccasins so distinctive.
Blending traditional craftsmanship, premium materials, and enduring comfort, this is more than a moccasin—it's made to become a lasting favorite. There is simply nothing quite like the feel of authentic handsewn moccasins.

better than expected
I ordered size 11e and they arrived promptly and were true to size. The quality of leather and the craftsmanship is top-notch. These were comfortable out of the box and, I expect, once broken in, these will be more Comfortable than my own skin! Thanks, Town View. These would be a great value wherever they were from. Being made in Maine is a bonus. Great job, great value.

Wonderful hand-crafted moccasins!
Not my first pair of moccasins from Town View Leather, and won't be my last... These are truly wonderful hand-crafted moccasins that are beautiful, comfortable and a good value. You can spend a lot more money, but I'm not convinced you can buy a better pair of moccasins!

a beautiful pair of large sized, leather lined moccasins
strongly reinforces my belief that a superior hand made product can be made in the USA as my moccasins from Town View Leather are a splendid example and for a very economical price. a Holland and Holland of Moccasins made in America!! i was overwhelmed as to how well they fit and made without any requirement for a pattern......here is a shoemaker who knows his trade. i am not an easy one to comfortably fit because of my large/wide size.

4 years in, and still fantastic
Four years ago, after moving to a place without carpeting, I decided to get a pair of leather slippers to wear around the house. I bought these on a recommendation and they quickly became the shoes I wear when I'm just hanging around the house. I've worn them for at least a few hours every day for four years (and all day on most weekends) and they're still holding up admirably. I wear them in the house (of course), but also wear them out in the yard. If I'm not leaving my property, I don't bother switching to other shoes. From day one they've felt like a pair of thick, supportive socks more than a shoe, providing enough cushion against hard floors and the corners of furniture. They're just a touch loose, but after four years I have to say I think that works in their favor as they are tight enough to cling to your feet, but loose enough to slip off without much thought. They certainly show their wear on the soles and the lining, but only with discoloration as neither is looking dried out or cracked. Early on I cleaned them every couple weeks with some leather conditioner, but for the last year or so I've mostly left them to their own devices and they still look great. I've loved these so much that I'm back today ordering another pair to throw in my overnight bag for when I travel. This time maybe in the Dark Brown, though the Honey Gold are beautiful.
