What we call a double sole is actually built with three layers of leather—an additional leather layer is placed between the moccasin and the hand-stitched Bull Hide outsole for enhanced cushioning, durability, and all-day comfort. Best Mocs Ever
Bought my first pair on a trip to Maine at the Souvenier shop in Lincolnville. wore them on the trip and LOVED them. I wear them all the time. Indoors, Outside, driving. Everywhere.

Didn't Know What I was Missing
So comfortable. And so beautiful! They're a joy to wear both because they're well-constructed from quality materials and because you know, every time you slip them on, that they come from a tradition of classic American craftsmanship. I like these as "house shoes" - something I can slip into whenever I'm home and working, cooking, or lounging. Much more handsome than any slipper, but easier to wear and more comfortable than a pair of hard-soled shoes or boots. I'm a 10 in almost everything (dress shoes, boots, running shoes) and a 10 in these. They're loose enough that I can slip them on easily and wear them with socks but tight enough that I can also wear them barefoot without my heel slipping when I walk.

Excellent Mocs
I traded up from a pair of Minnetonka Mocs that weren’t built very well. These were more than twice the cost but you can tell they’re going to last and they’re worth every penny. My shoe size is an 11.5 and I ordered these in 11 because I wear them without socks. I also got a C width because my foot was right on the line between C and D. They were tight for a few days but have molded perfectly to my feet and they are super comfortable. Highly recommended!

Best ever
Fit and comfort are. great; quality outstanding. These slippers last, this is my second pair. I thought my first pair was close to replacement because I wear them outside, around the house, shopping, erect. They just don’t seem to wear out. Will use the new pair for travel. GREAT JOB! These moccasins are beautifully crafted. It’s clear that townview has an impressive attention to detail. Within 10 minutes of wearing these, I was grateful these were replacing my old Minnetonkas. Highly recommend.

Answer to my search for lined moccasins
I did searched extensively for a pair of lined moccasins for my husband. He was asking for flannel lined. I couldn't find them, but came across these Deerskin lined moccasins. I loved how they looked. I read all of the info on the site and felt the owners were dedicated to providing a quality product. I ordered them. When he opened them Christmas morning and put them on he loved them immediately - said they fit like a perfect pair of gloves. He is very happy with the mocs. I can't speak to the longevity of the mocs like other people have because he just got them. I would highly recommend them.

excellent, as usual
This is the 3rd pair of mocs we've ordered from Town View (1 for mom, 1 for dad, 1 for hubby), and they have all been excellent quality, true to size and very comfortable. Our first pair is from 2016 - they have been worn every day and they are in excellent condition. Gayanne helped us figure out the correct sizing.

The moccasin is well made with nice leather. The sizing is true to size. If you are looking for a moccasin I recommend these - great value for the price.
