What we call a double sole is actually built with three layers of leather—an additional leather layer is placed between the moccasin and the hand-stitched Bull Hide outsole for enhanced cushioning, durability, and all-day comfort. The rugged Bull Hide double sole provides long-lasting wear while maintaining the flexible feel that makes moccasins so distinctive.

Incomparable product, in every way the best
I only own two pairs of Town View Moccasins -- one is 22 years old and the other is 10 years old. Both are as good as the first day I put them on -- the leather is super durable. I occasionally step out the front door, but I try to avoid outdoor surfaces as far as possible. But even despite the odd indiscretion, the soles have this perfect, burnished shine that has become almost as good as a regular shoe sole. The leather stretches a little over time, but the fit remains exzceptional. I promise to buy more of these as gifts -- there's simply no other maker whose craftsmanship comes close. None better
This is my third pair of mocs from Town View Leather. Super comfortable around the house - boots come off, mocs go on as soon as I'm in the door. My first two pairs would have lasted longer if I hadn't worn them outside on the sidewalks and pavement! That said, each pair still served 7-8 years. Went with the lined this time. Have I mentioned super comfortable? None better!

Exceptional
These Deerskin Lined Double Sole Leather Moccasins are very comfortable. They molded to my feet in a day. My floor is unheated stone tile. Too cold for bare feet. Socks are too slippery and wear out. I never wear outside shoes inside. I'm an old retired guy and home most of the time. I wear these all day every day. Good traction, just the right amount of insulation. Only had them a month but what's not to like? I wear a size 10 shoe but after measuring my feet and speaking with Galen and Gayanne I ordered a size 9. Perfect fit.
