What we call a double sole is actually built with three layers of leather—an additional leather layer is placed between the moccasin and the hand-stitched Bull Hide outsole for enhanced cushioning, durability, and all-day comfort. The rugged Bull Hide double sole provides long-lasting wear while maintaining the flexible feel that makes moccasins so distinctive.

All weather mocs
I've purchased 5 pairs of these. I wear them every day for 6 hours or so. In good weather, snow or rain. It takes years of outside use to wear through the two soles and into the inner leather liner. These are sweet!

A customer for life! I have been a Gokey Double Sole Moccasin devotee for over for over 35 years. Town View Leather is now my moccasin of choice. The quality is top notch and the immediate comfort factor is higher than the Gokey or LL Bean Double Sole Moccasins. The Dear Skin lining covers the entire inside of the moccasins and just loves your feet. Town View Leather's moccasins immediately wear as though you had them your entire life. They are without a doubt the most comfortable moccasins I've ever put on my feet. The customer service is also excellent. I requested custom stitching on my dark brown pair and they did it without any questions or issues. I love this company and their products.

Adjusted thong for perfect fit. Hope it stretches a micro in the front area as it is just a touch tight now. Improves each time worn. Not a problem. Rather have it that way than "sloppy. Overall, just super. Thank you.
