What we call a double sole is actually built with three layers of leather—an additional leather layer is placed between the moccasin and the hand-stitched Bull Hide outsole for enhanced cushioning, durability, and all-day comfort. The rugged Bull Hide double sole provides long-lasting wear while maintaining the flexible feel that makes moccasins so distinctive.

Great Traditional Moccasins
These are the second pair of Town View Moccasins I've owned. In fact the first pair are still in service, just delegated to heavier out-door duties, and still going strong. I see people asking if these moccasins can be worn out-doors on asphalt & concrete, yes they can. They do not wear out any quicker than regular leather soled shoes.

These are the best moccasins on the market. For me, ordering 1/2 size smaller than usual was the right move (allow time to stretch). I have one 5-year-old unlined pair that only gets worn in the house with socks in the winter and without socks in the summer. I just added a second pair (lined) that I wear around town without socks. The quality, fit, and function cannot be beat.

Comfort with durability, perfection.
I am hard on shoes in general and was simply hoping for the best when I pulled the trigger and purchased my first pair. My Mocs are now 2 plus years old and only seem to improve with wearing. I have been nothing less than pleased with these moccasins since . Comfortable, durable classic good looks and frequently complimented, I don’t wear anything else around my home. Satisfied ? Yes, immensely and I will be purchasing another pair in a different color this year.

Perfect mocs
My husband had a pair of 14D mocs for years and finally decided to try a 14E and a 14EE given his age and condition. He kept the 14EE and exchanged the 14E for a 14EE in a second color. He loves these shoes for their comfort and style, and they look appropriate for multiple occasions. Many thanks to Gayanne for helping with the exchange process. I love these! I had heard many great things about these moccasins, and I can tell you that they were all true. My questions about sizing were answered promptly, and shipping was very quick. These moccasins are supremely comfortable, and have become my de-facto footwear any time I leave the house! I am very glad I purchased these.
