FEE SHIPPING...Our Unlined Double Sole "Ole Maine Comfort Classic" style leather moccasins are Hand Made. This unlined style is made with a leather heel pad added for your comfort. Top Grain Cowhide leather is used for the uppers and a thicker, more durable Bull Hide leather is used for the double sole. A rich dark brown leather is used for this style.
Our double sole leather moccasins are really "triple" soles because we put an extra layer of leather between the moccasin and the stitched on double sole for added comfort. Combining that with great classic looks and craftsmanship it creates a long time friend. There is nothing quite as special as handsewn moccasins.
When choosing a size for your new moccasins, keep in mind our moccasins run pretty true to the size of your dress shoe or everyday street shoe size...not a sneaker, athletic shoe or work boot.
Our moccasins are earthing or grounding friendly. Made in the USA.

The best indoor shoes I've ever found

I heard Derek Guy mention these moccasins on a podcast as the best indoor shoes he'd ever found; unsurprisingly, I found the same thing! Incredibly comfortable, and given the construction I'm sure they're quite durable.

Contemplated these for 2 years. Bought other brands, wore out quick and were "ok". But these! Even though they have no cushiony insole, the moccasin construction wraps my feet like gloves, and makes my wood and tile floors walkable on my old feet. Most slippers are flat things attached to my feet, but these feel almost like socks, they fit so well. Most shoes I get are US size 11, went with 10.5 and fit perfect. Get them, worth every penny.

I've had my eye on these for years, but bought, and wore out, other brands in the meantime. Finally got my own Town Views and I know what all the fuss is about. I'll buy size 11 in any Nike or Merrell or Vans type shoe, but I followed their recommendation and got 10.5. I had an issue the first few days on top of my foot, where the lace goes inside the leather it was quite uncomfortable. But I kept the faith, and after 3 days they were fine, and at 10 days in I can't feel it at all. I'm getting older and now live in house with all tile and wood, so my feet were killing me. Still, these have no memory foam insoles like many brands, but still I wanted the quality. What happened is, they molded to my feet in just a few days, the moccasin design wraps my feet and gives an odd but wonderful kind of support, to where it feels like there is a padded insole. I don't feel like I'm just walking on a plank, like some shoes or slippers, but rather have gloves on my feet and they are super comfortable. Also I got unlined, since I live in a warm climate, and I heard, but don't actually know, that the deer skin lining is warmer. These are just fantastic moccasins, worth the price (you get what you pay for) and I'm very happy with my purchase.

If you are hesitant to make this purchase, don't be. This is classic "get what you pay for". Impeccable quality and workmanship. Comfortable. I would say these run true to size. I did order 0.5 sizes smaller because I like a very snug fit. Thank y'all so much!!!!

Many years ago, I purchased Double Sole Moccasins.
I recently purchased a new pair. (old ones really worn). It's nice to deal with a company and get a great product once again. I ordered and they were at my home in 3 days. I love these moccasins! the workmanship is perfect and so is the fit.. I love them and you will too.

I'm 78 and been wearing Mocs for many years. These are easily the best I'ver ever owned.
The workmanship is incomparable and they are ABSOLUTELY spot on for fit - length and width.
Seldom if ever do you finds Mocs that are symmetrical - these are like a mirror image of each other. I look forward to years of comfort!

Other than my enlistment, I've lived my whole life here in the great State of Maine as have the prior 13 or so generations on both my mom and my dad's side. Maine Made moccasins are the finest in the world. Used to be a given then the 'big names' started shipping their work overseas and we lost a bit of the magic. SO very happy to have found that the Wintles are carrying on this fine tradition and that we have access to truly hand sewn quality, made with lovely leathers and backed by a real human presence at the other end of the email or call. This is just my FIRST pair of what I'm sure will be several.

I've bought a lot of "just OK" and "pretty good" but now I can report to you, the Town View Leather Moccasins Ole Maine Comfort Classic--Double Sole--Deerskin Lined--[in honey] to be THE BEST PERIOD!. This is my Holy Grail I've been searching for.

These are perfect for wearing around my apartment and building. Far better than any cheap slippers I have received as gifts over the years. Very comfortable, well made, beautiful, fit perfectly, and in keeping with the best of New England shoemakers.

Headline says it all. These are unbelievable. They conform to your foot so well. Such a good purchase.
I'm so enamored, I'm wondering if I can do backpacking trips and thru-hikes in these...why wear hiking shoes when you can wear these...?
